Is tourism harmful?

The article is about how some cities around the world are putting restrictions on the tourists who visit.

At the beginning the hosts explain why some cities need to restrict tourists.(The reason is that more and more people came to visit the famous cities like Rome and some people do misbehave something may like walking around bare-chested.)

Then they  mention that those cities make new rules(laws) to stop tourists misbehaving. These laws were designed to improve the life for the people of Rome – the Romans.

MY OPINION

In my opinion, tourism is harmful for those cities but not all the tourism may do misbehave. In the article they said some tourists do the bad behavior such as drop litter around the historic place.Try to think about that does the locals certainly not to drop litter everywhere?(The answer you can keep in mind.)

Is the tourists harmful? My answer is that Fifty-fifty.

Ex:The swimming club is open to families in the neighborhood without restriction.

crackdown(noun.)

Definition:a situation in which someone starts to deal with bad or illegal behaviour in a more severe way

Ex: There has been a series of government crackdowns on safety in factories.
